Laurence Mulliez (55) is the new President of the Siemens Energy Audit Committee. Mulliez succeeds Prof. Dr. Ralf Thomas (60), who had already announced last year to leave the chair after a period of transition.

Joe Kaeser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy AG: “I would like to thank Professor Thomas for his thoughtful management of the Audit Committee during these difficult times. I am happy that with Laurence Mulliez we have a worthy successor who has excellent experience in international consulting.

The Audit Committee is one of the most important committees of the Supervisory Board. Its missions include monitoring the accounting process, the internal control system and auditing the financial statements. At Siemens Energy, the audit committee has eight members, including Ralf Thomas.

Laurence Mulliez is an internationally renowned financial expert who has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Siemens Energy since September 2020. She graduated in economics and finance from ESC Rouen, France, and has many years of leadership experience in industry. Since 2019 she has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Globeleq Limited in London, UK. She is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Voltalia SA in France.
